Conference centre group Mayfair Cavendish is opening a striking new meetings and event space, America Square Conference Centre, in September 2008, located in the City of London.

This site of this new venue features a significant section of the original London wall, dating from AD200, running along the full width of the building.

With its dedicated entrance foyer and spacious reception area, the venue spans two floors of a stunning art deco-style building. The new venue is fitted out to Mayfair Cavendish's exacting standards, incorporating the latest audio visual technology, equipment and presentation facilities, a flexible layout and rooms to suit virtually all requirements and capacities – from two to
200 – and all with private dining, break out and exhibition space if required.

America Square not only looks magnificent, but also comes with strong sustainable credentials, with Mayfair Cavendish being the only conference venue group in London to be Green Mark* accredited. Furthermore, catering is provided by award-winning food experts, which boast “an unrivalled range of organic and fair-trade options on the menu”, according to Mayfair Cavendish.

The venue also enjoys good transport links, with Fenchurch Street and Tower Hill stations within a minute’s walk, while Aldgate, Liverpool, Bank and Monument are all within easy reach.

"America Square offers us everything we need and expect from a venue and much more besides,” said Mayfair Cavendish founder and director Tom Mayers. “We have been looking for an additional location for some time and when we viewed the building we just knew this was the right opportunity for us. We have been running conference centres in London for over 10 years, but this will be our first in E1, and we are relishing the challenge.”
