Connecticut-based conference and event logistics, management and marketing company Global Executive recently announced new and enhanced capabilities for eTouches, its award-winning suite of meeting and event management applications.

Aimed at increasing the productivity of meeting and event organisers and improving the registration experience for delegates, these capabilities add to a suite already described as “exceptionally complete” by meetings technology expert, Corbin Ball.

The added capabilities include:

– An integration to Concur’s Cliqbook Travel, providing corporate meeting attendees with a seamless experience for event registration and travel booking.  At the end of the meeting registration process in eTouches®, attendees are taken to Cliqbook Travel, which is preloaded with their details and the travel policy for the meeting they are attending. “Using Cliqbook Travel integrated with eTouches® saves attendees’ time while reducing travel booking errors and helping to enforce corporate travel policies,” claimed a Global Executive statement.

–  Expanded capabilities for the eTouches® integration to Salesforce. In addition to synchronising Salesforce contact and account information, the eTouches® integration can now be configured to add opportunity and product information into Salesforce. This allows companies in the events business to have an immediate record of the sales they have done with each of their customers, even when this involves multiple attendees and more than one event.

“These new features are in response to requests from our customers”, said Global Executive chief executive Leonora Valvo.  “One of our strengths as a company is that we are in the events business ourselves and can quickly translate customer requests into workable solutions. These latest enhancements are in line with our strategy to keep eTouches® at the forefront of meeting and event technologies.”

Valvo also announced another year of dramatic growth for eTouches, with customer numbers up by over 300%, including expansion into Europe and countries such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

“We are very excited about the progress that we have made this year”, said Valvo. “All of our key business indicators are up, including new customer numbers, registrations and revenue. In addition to expanding into several new countries, we also added a number of prestigious new customers such the Financial Times and the Smiley Group.”

This year, eTouches was also honored as a finalist in the Worldwide Technology Watch Award, a key meetings industry technology accolade.
