Dolce takes over eastern US hotel and venue

The management contract for Atlantic City hotel and conference centre Seaview has been awarded to Dolce Hotels & Resorts. The venue was previously managed by Marriott International.
 
The 300-acre property situated in Galloway is Dolce Hotels & Resort’s 26th property, taking into account the €50 million Dolce Munich Ballhaus Forum, which will open in Germany in April 2010.
 
Seaview is also Dolce’s first eastern US property to boast both golf and meetings amenities. It offers delegates two 18-hole championship golf courses, as well as 27,000 sqaure feet of meeting space.

The events facilities include 26 meeting rooms, 16 breakout rooms and a 6,634 square foot ballroom, which can accommodate up to 500 delegates seated.

Opened in 1912 as an exclusive country club, Seaview also features 297 guest bedrooms, two restaurants, a fitness centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and tennis courts.

“By integrating Seaview’s sales efforts with Dolce’s infrastructure of sales representatives in the US, our objective is to improve revenue by leveraging our strong presence in the corporate meetings business.”
