MITT is Russia’s largest and most important travel industry event is held annually in March at the best exhibition venue in the centre of Moscow - Expocentr. The event is ranked among top 5 world’s travel and tourism exhibitions. More than 2,700 exhibitors of which 1,500 international are promoting their products and services to an attendance that exceeds 80,000.

44,000 square metres of exhibition area was occupied by MITT 2008. More than 70 national/regional tourism boards were participating at MITT 2008. This is expected to increase in 2009. The number of countries and regions participating at MITT 2008 totalled 118. This too is expected to rise at the next event.
