The Royal Nore now has a truly opulent feel, thanks to Lloyd Loom armchairs and soft, tan leather button-back banquettes, which provide a lavish and welcoming lounge area on the upper deck. Beautiful, cherry wood paneling has been hand fitted throughout, complimented by an Irish Ulster Wool carpet to give the refurbishment a regal, warm finish.

Fit for a king: the Royal Nore's banqueting space
The official royal barge on the Thames, the boat has been involved with the Queen and state visits since 1971.
“The Royal Nore is the ultimate British setting for entertaining VIP’s and celebrating in style with unrivalled views of London’s riverscape, stylish catering from ‘rhubarb’ on the river and seamless service from our expert, event management team,” said Silver Fleet director Kate Woods.
Although you won’t be able to hold any large events on the Royal Nore, as a seated three-course dinner will only accommidate16 guests, while 30 is the maximum for a Champagne and canapé reception, the floating venue does offer something special for more intimate gatherings.
