Autumn 2008 will see the launch of Venice’s newest luxury hotel: the
five-star Centurion Palace, which features a 50 square metre banquet
room suitable for meetings, conferences and events.
Housed in
the historical Palazzo Genovese, the new hotel has been imaginatively
restored by its owners, the SINA Fine Italian Hotels Group.
The
Palazzo Genovese rises in one of the two Cloisters of the San Gregorio
convent, founded in the second half of 1100, and is one of the most
ancient sites in Venice. With an incomparable location overlooking the
Grand Canal and San Marco, the hotel is adjacent to the Basilica of
Santa Maria della Salute, situated between the Punta della Dogana and
the Peggy Guggenheim
Museum.
All 50 rooms, including 12
junior suites and four suites are decorated individually in a fresh,
contemporary style with a Venetian touch. The two-bedroom Presidential
suite has an amazing view of the Grand Canal from its spacious sitting
room and balcony.
Other features of the Centurion Palace Hotel include:
– Elegant restaurant and bar overlooking the Grand Canal serving
regional and international food and wines
– Private pier
– Private Garden
– Wi-Fi Access
– Fitness Center
