Woodstock House – SHL Conference and Management Centre, one of the most popular training and conference centres in Surrey, has been sold. Operating as both a conferencing and training facility, whilst providing accommodation and leisure activity, since 1986, Woodstock House will cease trading at the end of 2007.

Operating for nearly 22 years and facilitating around 400 conferences a year, Woodstock House will continue with ‘business as usual’ until the end of 2007, fulfilling all existing bookings. SHL, which owns Woodstock House, will also continue to run its public courses until the end of December.

General manager, Nick Darby, commented: “Thank you to all our loyal clients and customers for their continued support over the many years.  I would like to reiterate our commitment to them by ensuring we will continue to provide the best possible standards that we are renowned for, to the end of 2007. It has been a pleasure to work with the staff at Woodstock House and I wish each of them every success in the future.”

Woodstock House will be taken over by Kishmul School, a private school for children with special needs and learning difficulties in January 2008.
