Davies Tanner, the specialist business tourism PR agency, put itself on the industry map in Scotland by sponsoring the Scottish Enterprise Business Tourism Conference, which took place last month.
The agency, which opened its first Scottish office in Edinburgh in November this year, provides public relations to a wide range of clients involved in business tourism, and sees the conference as a key landmark in the development of the business.
“We’ve only just opened our office in Edinburgh, so this is perfect timing for us,” commented Robert Wright, managing director at Davies Tanner. “It provided us with a great opportunity to further support the business tourism industry in Scotland while developing further relationships with key contacts and stakeholders who share our future plans for the business.”
The agency is already building up an impressive portfolio of clients in the area. “Scotland has always punched above its weight in terms of business tourism, and I firmly believe that this is a market growing into a world leading destination for business events,” said Wright. “The recent win of the 2014 Commonwealth Games further underlines that and will add even greater value to the region.”
Davies Tanner’s new Edinburgh office joins those already operating in Royal Tunbridge Wells, which serves clients in London and the rest of England, and Barcelona, which serves clients throughout continental Europe.
