Church House’s Conference Centre has announced that it experienced its
best financial month on record in November 2007. Located in the heart
of Westminster, the centre reported that turnover for the month in
question exceeded that of any other month in its 17 years of business.
The
venue’s financial success, which boasted a 27% increase on its previous
November, is especially important as it comes on the back of a 12-month
closure due to refurbishment, which ended in March.
“We are
delighted with the success we have seen since we reopened in March. Our
record November is testament to the efforts of our team and the
marketing campaign we ran during our 12 month refurbishment works,”
commented Lacy Curtis-Ward, director and general manager at Church
House.
The £3.1 million refurbishment included a major
overhaul of the Assembly Hall, the largest room at Church House, and
the fitting of brand new state-of-the-art audio visual technology.
Other major changes include two new rooms and a modern Conference
Office and Business Centre.
