Participants at the upcoming Meeting Professionals International (MPI)
European Meetings and Events Conference in London, on 18-20 April 2008
at ExCeL, will have a new way to find people in the room.
Each participant will receive an award-winning New Spotme® handheld device to use during the conference.
The
device accelerates networking and claims to “reinvent” communication at
conferences. Delegates can use the New Spotme to message, locate
individuals, view the programme, find their way around and vote on
issues raised.
The New Spotme was launched in June 2007 at a
Nestlé Leadership Conference in Europe. Since then, it has won the
meeting industry's prestigious EIBTM WorldWide Technology Watch Award
in November 2007 and has been used at conferences and events all over
the world.
"MPI is thrilled to welcome the New Spotme to the
European Meetings and Events Conference in London,” said Joyce Dogniez,
CMM, director of operations EMEA of MPI.
