Events software solutions provider Parrimark Technology is to open a third location in Melbourne Docklands, Australia, underlining a rapid expansion and increasing investment in the Australian meetings and events market.

The decision for the international technology specialists to open in Melbourne forms part of a strategic move to further service and develop its client base in this area, which currently makes up a vast percentage of the company's business and holds significant potential for the future.

"One of the largest growth areas for Parrimark has been the Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian markets, so in keeping with our local service philosophy, we chose to purchase offices here," said James Pegum, Parrimark’s general manager. "The Lifelab building, where are new office will be located, is a technological hub that will allow us to increase the level of support to our customers in these markets. It will also ensure that our team spend less time travelling, which in turn, improves the happiness of our staff and reduces our environmental footprint."

The Melbourne office is scheduled to be fully functional by mid August. Meanwhile Parrimark continues to build business alliances through its London and Sydney branches, with plans to further expand its export markets into other areas of Europe and South East Asia.
